The Journal of Advanced, Basic, and Applied Research in Mathematics Education is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be free from plagiarism in any form.

To ensure originality, all submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism detection software screening before the peer review process. A manuscript is deemed acceptable for review only if the overall similarity index does not exceed 20%, excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological descriptions.

Plagiarism encompasses, but is not limited to:

  • Direct copying of text, data, figures, or ideas without proper citation;

  • Inappropriate paraphrasing or close imitation of previously published work;

  • Self-plagiarism, including the reuse of substantial portions of an author’s own previously published work without proper acknowledgment;

  • Duplicate or redundant publication.

If the similarity index surpasses the 20% threshold, the manuscript may be:

  • Returned to the author(s) for revision,

  • Rejected without review, or

  • Rejected after review, contingent upon the severity and nature of the overlap.

In instances where plagiarism is detected post-publication, the Journal of Advanced, Basic, and Applied Research in Mathematics Education reserves the right to retract the article and implement further actions in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics and COPE guidelines.

Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring the originality of their manuscripts and for appropriately citing all sources utilized in their work.
